Ven Pongal



Ingredients:

Rice - 1 cup
Split yellow Moong Dal - 1/2 cup
Green chilly - 1/2
Cumin seeds-1/2 Tbsp
Cashews- 7 (Avail)
Pepper - 1/2 Tbsp (Like)
Butter or ghee - 3 Tbsp
Curry Leaves -Few
Salt - 1/2 Tbsp
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Water - 4 cup

Preparation:

1.Take pan,heat it in low flame then add oil ,mustard seeds wait until it split..
2.Add curry leaves ,cumin seeds,pepper,cashews,green chilly,butter fry for 5 mins..
Then put it into pressure cooker,add rice, Dal,salt,water then close lid and let it boil until get five whistle..
3.Now it's ready to eat...

Duration:15 mins
No of serve:2
Serve with:coconut chutney,sambar
